A Victory for Progressives in Washington and in New Hampshire

Democrats took control of House in Washington and a Blue Tidal Wave hit Concord. The Dem’s took the house holding 222 seats 3 more than needed for a majority. It was a tough loss in the Senate where it seems a vote against Kavanaugh was a death sentence for Blue Dem’s in Red States.

At the Congressional level both CD Districts stayed Blue with Chris Pappas beating Eddie Edwards in a close race, and Annie Kuster winning in a land slide against Steve Negron.

At the State level New Hampshire Dem’s took over both houses for the first time in a decade.  Chris Sununu was elected to his second term. Bedford Elected Sue Mullen to the State house putting a little Blue in what seemed a perpetual Red pond. In even bigger news Senate District 9 held by Andy Sanborn was flipped blue with Jeanne Diestch beating Dan Hynes.

I’ll update this as things go along, and I’ll keep an eye out on Dan Hynes house for the moving truck. In the mean time you can follow live results here.
